Martinet is an endpoint security platform under development that combines Endpoint Detection and Response (EDR), Extended Detection and Response (XDR), and autonomous response capabilities into a single agent for Windows, Linux, and macOS.
The agent streams process, file, registry, USB, and user-activity telemetry from endpoints into a central platform that correlates events across a device fleet rather than analyzing each endpoint in isolation. Behavioral analytics, machine learning, and threat intelligence are used to detect and correlate threats across endpoints.
When a threat is confirmed, Martinet is designed to execute autonomous response actions without waiting for human intervention, including killing malicious processes, quarantining infected files, isolating compromised endpoints, blocking malicious IPs, and automatically creating incident tickets.
The platform also incorporates additional modules including vulnerability management (scanning, CVE monitoring, risk-based prioritization, remediation tracking), threat intelligence feeds and IOC matching, security analytics and posture scoring, compliance management (ISO 27001, SOC 2, GDPR, HIPAA, PCI DSS reporting), SIEM-style log ingestion and event correlation, patch management, hardware/software asset inventory, and an AI security agent that supports natural language queries and threat investigation.
The product is currently in active development (stated as 68% complete at time of writing) and has not yet reached public launch, with a closed beta and public launch targeted for Q2 2026. It is intended for organizations of varying sizes, including SMEs, startups, enterprises, educational institutions, healthcare providers, financial institutions, government agencies, and MSSPs managing multiple customer environments.</description>
