Odaseva Data Archiving is a data archiving solution built specifically for Salesforce organizations. It moves inactive or unused Salesforce data out of the active org environment to reduce storage consumption, improve org performance, and support regulatory compliance requirements such as GDPR and CPRA. The product allows administrators to define archiving scope through a visual interface or direct JSON configuration. Archiving policies are rule-driven and can be customized without limit, enabling organizations to tailor retention and removal strategies to their data models. It leverages Salesforce Bulk and REST APIs for data extraction, with PK chunking support to handle large data volumes (LDV) while respecting Salesforce governor limits. Archived data remains accessible via a Salesforce-native integration, allowing users to search, preview, export, or restore records without leaving the Salesforce environment. An indexed explorer enables field-level search and file preview or download, while enforcing production-level user permissions. The solution also supports secure data purging, including cascade deletions and handling of orphan records. It can access up to 30+ levels of nested JSON data structures that standard queries cannot reach. File extraction from existing backups is also supported, allowing faster access to historical data. Additional optional services include Managed Archiving Services for expert-led archiving management, and an Archiving Agent feature that exposes archived data to AI and user queries for historical insights.
