PlaxidityX CAN Protection is an Intrusion Detection and Prevention System (IDPS) designed for Controller Area Network (CAN) bus networks used in automotive vehicles. It monitors CAN bus traffic, detects threats and anomalies, and provides prevention mechanisms against common attack methods such as denial of service and brute force attacks. CAN bus is the primary networking technology used in vehicles for safety-critical systems. PlaxidityX CAN Protection is intended to help vehicle manufacturers and suppliers meet automotive cybersecurity regulations and standards, including WP.29 (UNECE) and GB (China), which apply to vehicles and components entering European and Asian markets.
