Moxso Data Breach Detection monitors employee information against a database of hundreds of millions of data points collected from external data breaches. The system continuously compares employee data with leaked information from the surface web, deep web, and dark web to identify when employee credentials or personal information has been exposed in third-party breaches. When a match is detected, employees receive automatic alerts notifying them of the data breach and what specific information was compromised. Employees can access an overview of all historical data breaches that have exposed their information through a dashboard interface. The platform categorizes data breaches by severity based on the type of information exposed, marking critical breaches that require immediate attention. Monitored data types include passwords, email addresses, usernames, API tokens, addresses, and other personal information. Employees have the option to enable monitoring of their private data in addition to work-related information. The system sets up automatically during onboarding for all employees and provides data categorization showing what kind of information was leaked in each breach. The product is part of Moxso's broader security platform that includes phishing simulation, awareness training, threat management, and policy acceptance capabilities.
