The Phosphorus Platform is an autonomous security and management platform for extended IoT (xIoT) devices, covering IoT, OT, IoMT, and IIoT environments. It is designed to deploy at scale without requiring SPAN ports, TAPs, packet brokers, or proprietary hardware. The platform is organized into three functional modules: **Discover & Assess** Performs active discovery and profiling of connected devices, collecting attributes such as device type, manufacturer, model/series, IP address, active protocols, firmware version, and open ports. Vulnerability assessment identifies default passwords, firmware availability, CVEs enriched with CISA KEV and FIRST EPSS context, end-of-life devices, insecure configurations, and expired or self-signed certificates. It also detects and can remotely disable devices prohibited under NDAA Section 889 (Chinese-manufactured devices from Huawei, Dahua, Hikvision, ZTE, and Hytera), including OEM firmware derivatives. **Harden & Remediate** Automates remediation across four areas: password management (default/weak password remediation, scheduled credential rotation, policy enforcement, embedded password vault); firmware management (upgrade/downgrade at scale, automated firmware risk context); certificate management (identify and auto-renew expired, self-signed, or misconfigured certificates); and configuration management (remote disabling of unnecessary services like Telnet or FTP, custom device-specific actions). **Monitor & Manage** Continuously monitors xIoT estates for device drift, including out-of-band password resets, firmware changes, certificate changes, device offline/reset events, and custom device-specific alerts. Centralizes log collection (audit logs, system events) for anomaly detection and forensics. Device configuration backup and restoration (listed as coming soon).
