OpView is a unified, agentless security and network monitoring platform that consolidates multiple monitoring functions into a single system. It is built on an object-persistent database architecture designed to handle disparate data types, addressing the limitations of traditional relational database-based monitoring tools. Architecture: - Agentless design using a single lightweight data collector per network zone - Collects data from all devices and sources within a network zone - Object-persistent database capable of handling large volumes of varied data types - Supports correlation rule creation across all collected data Monitoring capabilities included in a single platform: - Logs and SIEM (event correlation and alerting) - Configuration auditing - File integrity monitoring - Vulnerability scanning - Health and availability monitoring - Application performance monitoring Key functional characteristics: - Each user can configure their own interface and views - Automated reporting for action fraud - Infrastructure blacklisting - Dark web threat deterrence - Designed to serve NOC, SOC, and GRC use cases OpView is intended to replace the need for multiple separate monitoring products (e.g., separate SIEM, performance, and configuration management tools), reducing the complexity of managing multiple agents, correlating outputs manually, and training staff on disparate systems.
