Odaseva Backup and Restore is a data backup and recovery solution built specifically for enterprise Salesforce environments, including those with Large Data Volumes (LDV). The product performs incremental backups of Salesforce data, metadata, and files at frequencies of up to every 5 minutes. Backup jobs can be automated on a schedule or triggered on-demand for targeted record extraction. Records can be searched and exported from backups using methods such as CSV parsing or record ID lookup. A Restore Readiness Audit feature cross-checks data and metadata to detect potential restore failures before a disaster occurs, giving administrators an ongoing view of Salesforce Org configuration and recovery preparedness. Data changes — including record deletions, modifications, and additions — are monitored with notifications. Guided restore flows are designed around common data loss scenarios, such as single-record rollbacks or targeted metadata restores. The product also supports pre-transformation of data and metadata prior to restoration to accommodate organizational needs and avoid restoration blockers. An end-user self-service capability called Data Reverse allows Salesforce users to correct field-level data errors independently, reducing administrator workload. Backups are secured with end-to-end encryption on sensitive data leaving Salesforce. The solution is designed to support compliance with regulations including DORA, SOX Act II, and GDPR.
