Matisoft DLP is a data loss prevention solution designed to prevent unauthorized data transfers across multiple channels. The product monitors and controls data movement through emails and attachments, cloud file uploads, websites, applications, and physical devices including USB drives, mobile phones, and Bluetooth connections. The solution scans email bodies and attachments for sensitive keywords such as confidential information, account numbers, credit card numbers, and PAN cards. It inspects various file formats including zip files, office documents, PDFs, and images. For cloud protection, it monitors file uploads in real-time and provides alerts to administrators when sensitive data is detected. The platform includes website and application blocking capabilities to prevent data leaks through instant messaging and social media platforms. Application blocking is designed to resist bypass attempts such as file renaming or version updates. Matisoft DLP features proprietary USB Firewall technology that enables secure data sharing on USB storage devices within organizations, protecting against data leaks and USB-borne viruses. The USB Vault technology provides secure data transfer outside the organization with access controls, login requirements, and malware protection. The solution is managed through an on-premise Management Console that can sync with Active Directory for deployment. It maintains detailed logs of all file transfers for 180 days to support compliance requirements including CERT-In, RBI, GDPR, HIPAA, and NISPG. The product supports Windows 7 SP1, Windows Server 2012 R2 SP1, and later versions.
