Intermedia SecuriSync is a cloud-based file storage, sync, and backup solution with integrated antivirus and ransomware protection. It is available as part of the Intermedia Unite unified communications platform. File Sync & Access: SecuriSync syncs files in real-time across Windows, Mac, iOS, and Android devices. Users can access files from desktops, laptops, mobile devices, and via web browser. Selective Sync allows users to choose which folders and files are synced to specific devices. Backup: Files are backed up automatically as soon as they are created or modified. Coverage extends beyond a dedicated sync folder to include Desktop, My Documents, Music, Video, Downloads, Documents folders, and photos/videos from mobile devices. Ransomware & Malware Protection: Files are scanned with anti-malware and antivirus software. Point-in-time restoration allows files and folders to be rolled back to previous versions in the event of ransomware infection, accidental deletion, hardware failure, or device loss. Collaboration: Files can be co-edited using online editing tools. Integration with Microsoft 365 apps allows file and version management directly within those applications. Secure links can be shared externally with configurable permission levels. Administrative Controls: A centralized control panel (HostPilot) provides admin management of users, devices, and permissions. Admins can enforce Device Access Policies, remotely wipe data from connected devices, manage file access and permissions, and review audit logs of file and folder activity. Two-factor authentication is supported. Compliance: SecuriSync facilitates compliance with FINRA, SEC, SOX, HIPAA, FRCP, and other regulations. Encryption is applied both in transit and at rest.
