IllumaSHIELD Voice Authentication is a voice biometrics product for contact centers that verifies caller identity passively during natural conversation, without security questions, PINs, or passphrases. The system analyzes a caller's vocal characteristics using signal processing, machine learning, and AI to authenticate identity in real time in the background of a live call. It includes a proprietary Voice Authentication Engine that continuously evaluates voice characteristics, an Active Learning component that refines voiceprints over time to account for changes from aging, environment, or device, and an Anytime Authentication capability that allows re-authentication at any point during a call rather than only at call start. Caller enrollment occurs during a live call on an opt-in basis and does not require dedicated phone numbers or repeated phrases. Voiceprints generated by the system are described as irreversible and cannot be reconstructed.
