eSHARE is a secure external collaboration platform built on top of Microsoft 365. It enables organizations to share files and folders with external parties without requiring guest access accounts within the M365 tenant. The platform operates through what it terms a "Trusted Collaboration Fabric," which keeps Microsoft 365 as the authoritative data store while providing external users access to shared content through a branded, organization-controlled portal. Internal users share content natively from Microsoft Teams, SharePoint, and OneDrive without changing their existing workflows. Governance policies are enforced automatically at scale when external users access content through the portal. The platform integrates with existing DLP (Data Loss Prevention) policies within M365. eSHARE also supports Agentic AI workflows, enabling secure data collection, analysis, and communication beyond organizational boundaries while keeping data within the Microsoft 365 environment. It is used in regulated industries and supports compliance requirements such as FDA GxP, 21 CFR Part 11, and CMMC 2.0.
