CommuniTake IntactPhone

CommuniTake IntactPhone is a hardware-software mobile security platform consisting of a purpose-built smartphone and its accompanying security stack, designed for enterprise use. The device runs IntactOS, a custom Android-based operating system built from source code to address enterprise mobile security concerns. CommuniTake manufactures the hardware directly, owning all device code including drivers and bootloader, enabling a secure boot process that prevents substitution of altered boot code or introduction of security backdoors. Communications security is provided via ZRTP-encrypted VoIP calls, end-to-end message encryption using AES-256 with 256-bit keys and RSA-2048. These communications operate across 2G GSM, 3G UMTS-CDMA, and LTE networks. The platform includes IntactCC, an OS-fused command-and-control application that enforces configurable security profiles and group-based policies covering device features, applications, web browsing, and network/data access. It also handles lost and stolen device recovery scenarios. Additional security capabilities include behavior-based anomaly and threat detection across Wi-Fi, cell tower, and application activity, as well as an integrated anti-malware solution. The platform supports BYOD deployments through an application-level program offering encrypted communications, remote control, and self-troubleshooting functionality. It also provides encrypted mobile communications archiving for both voice calls and messages, with decryption keys held exclusively by the organization. Two hardware models are available: IntactPhone Arcane (octa-core 2.0 GHz, 3GB RAM, 32GB ROM) and IntactPhone Opaque (octa-core 2.2 GHz, 8GB RAM, 128GB ROM, 5G, IP68/IP69K).
