The Simplesense Installation Resilience Platform (IRP) is a DoD-compliant cybersecurity and infrastructure platform designed to secure, monitor, and manage Operational Technology (OT) and Control Systems (CS) across military or government installations. The platform is built using an infrastructure-as-code approach with automated deployment pipelines, and consists of four core architectural components: **OT Stack:** Small form-factor networking and compute nodes deployed in communications closets at building edges, designed to push security to the edge and protect OT/CS IP traffic from the point of origin. **OT Enclave:** Fault-tolerant, on-premises networking and compute clusters capable of hosting OT/CS systems and aggregating meaningful operational data for relevant stakeholders. **OT Cloud Enclave:** Impact Level 5 (IL5) cloud-hosted environment providing advanced analytics, data storage, continuous monitoring, anti-virus, scanning, patching, and threat detection. **Data Services:** High-availability database with seamless replication between on-premises locations and cloud, enabling operational and analytical insights. The platform provides continuous monitoring down to Purdue Level 1, ongoing patch management, machine learning-based threat detection, and data sharing to improve situational awareness. It supports a suite of compatible products: SecuritySphere, DevicePilot, InterConnect, IncidentLink, DefenseAssure, CloudWorks, and OTGateway. The platform is designed for rapid scalability and repeatability compared to traditional network models, and operates across hybrid on-premises and cloud environments using FedRAMP High, IL5, and FIPS 140-2 compliant infrastructure.
