PacketViper OT Security

PacketViper OT Security is a purpose-built cybersecurity solution designed to protect operational technology (OT) and industrial control system (ICS) environments, including both primary facilities and remote/distributed assets. The solution addresses the unique challenges of OT environments, including aging and unsupported devices that cannot be patched, air-gapped network bridging risks, harsh physical environments, and unattended remote locations. It is designed to operate without negatively affecting the availability or reliability of the underlying OT processes. Core capabilities include threat prevention, detection, containment, and response — specifically targeting unknown and emerging threats. The solution combines prescriptive policies with deceptive techniques and artifacts to maximize the attack detection surface while distinguishing threats from normal OT operations. For remote and distributed OT assets, the solution is built to operate with zero false positives and provides automated incident response to contain threats at the local facility level, preventing lateral spread to other remote sites, upstream plant/control facilities, or corporate IT networks. The solution is designed to function within the physical constraints common to remote OT environments, including support for hardened hardware suitable for harsh conditions (temperature, humidity), low power consumption, small form-factor and DIN rail mounting, and operation in environments with limited compute capacity and low upstream bandwidth. It targets critical infrastructure sectors where OT/ICS assets are geographically dispersed, unattended, and serviced by third-party personnel.
