SEPPmail Cloudfilter

SEPPmail.cloudfilter is an anti-spam and anti-virus filtering service for email communications. It encrypts data in transit using S/MIME, OpenPGP, and SEPPmail's managed Domain Encryption to protect against interception by third parties. The service scans incoming and outgoing mail for malicious URLs using a URL block list, applies phishing filters to detect and remove reloadable malicious scripts that enable drive-by downloads, and automatically updates virus filter signatures, including specialized signatures for email-borne threats. Outbound mail is also filtered for spam and viruses to prevent unintentional distribution of malware. Backscatter mail (automated delivery status notifications) is filtered and minimized to reduce misuse for manipulation. The product operates over a hundred spam trap domains as honeypots to detect and collect new viruses, spam, and unusual attachments before they spread. Incoming mail passes through multiple filter stages before delivery or quarantine, and users can review quarantine reports. On the compliance side, the product maintains audit logs of logins and control panel changes that are visible to administrators, and applies content filter rules (up to 1000) to reject or quarantine unwanted attachments, including selective filtering of office macros.
