The service centres on enabling Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) to reduce reliance on passwords and mitigate risks from compromised credentials. It also supports Single Sign-On (SSO), allowing users to authenticate once and access multiple applications without repeated logins. Hardware authentication tokens are available as an alternative for environments where personal devices are restricted or where users cannot install business applications on personal phones. User lifecycle management is included, covering the provisioning and deprovisioning of credentials as staff join or leave an organisation, ensuring only authorised individuals retain access to systems. The service is delivered as a managed offering by Redpalm, a Microsoft-certified Managed Service Provider (MSP). It includes monthly reviews where Redpalm advisors can recommend adjustments to the IAM configuration and broader security posture. A dedicated client manager and technical engineer are assigned to each organisation. Redpalm holds Cyber Essentials and Cyber Essentials Plus certification body status and is a partner within the National Cyber Resilience Centre Group.
