InCountry Identity is a data residency solution for Identity and Access Management (IAM) and Customer Identity and Access Management (CIAM) systems. It enables organizations to comply with country-specific data residency regulations by storing and managing identity profile data locally within each country or regulatory jurisdiction, without replacing existing identity providers. Key capabilities include: Digital Twins: Identity profiles are securely isolated within country boundaries, creating local copies that shadow a global IAM/CIAM system. This allows organizations to extend their identity infrastructure beyond the geographic regions covered by their identity provider. Dialogs: Sensitive identity fields (PII, PHI, PFI) are hidden and unmasked within registration, login, profile, and other identity-related forms. Authorization: JWT authorization tokens are processed with the ability to hide and reveal claims containing sensitive data, keeping sensitive attributes within their country of origin. Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA): MFA via email and SMS is supported, with the ability to mask email addresses and phone numbers used in the authentication process. API Support: Provides API-based integration to connect with existing IAM/CIAM platforms. The solution is applicable to both customer identity (CIAM) and employee identity (IAM) use cases.
