HARPP DDoS Mitigator is a hardware appliance-based DDoS mitigation solution developed by Labris Networks, built on proprietary DDI™ (Deep DDoS Inspection) technology. It is designed to detect and mitigate DDoS attacks in real time, including those with Advanced Persistent Threat (APT) characteristics. The product uses an anomaly detection engine combining heuristic and non-heuristic algorithms, supported by 34+ data sensors and a proportional analysis feature based on historical traffic data and time-averaged baselines. This enables real-time identification and cleaning of abnormal traffic patterns. Defense capabilities include normalization, protocol-specific protection tools, and preemptive defense functions for web and DNS infrastructure. The appliances participate in a global security intelligence network ("Cyber Warfare Intelligence™") that provides real-time shared threat awareness across deployed units worldwide. Management and reporting are handled through an AVS™ (Attack Visualization System), which provides a dynamic dashboard with multidimensional graphics for monitoring and analyzing attack characteristics in real time. The product line is available in two tiers: - Performance Series (Models R, RT, RS): Rackmount 6U appliances, supporting 6–12 million PPS and up to 100 million concurrent sessions, with 18–22 SFP+ 10GbE ports. - Enterprise Series (Models E5, E10, E15, E20, C4, C6, C8, C10, C20, C40): Rackmount 1U and 2U appliances targeting enterprise-scale deployments. All models include internal SSD-based log storage and redundant power supplies.
