NetFlow/IPFIX traffic analyzer for network visibility and anomaly detection.
NetFlow/IPFIX traffic analyzer for network visibility and anomaly detection.
opFlow is a network traffic analyzer that collects, processes, and visualizes NetFlow and IPFIX data to provide visibility into network usage patterns and anomalies. The tool ingests NetFlow packets from network devices and automatically summarizes flow records on arrival, grouping them by source/destination IP addresses and application. It supports multiple flow protocols including Cisco NetFlow, NetFlow-Lite, NSEL, Juniper J-Flow, sFlow, and IPFIX. Key capabilities include: - Traffic summarization via pre-aggregation of flows at configurable intervals, reducing storage requirements and server load while maintaining data granularity - Identification of top talkers, top sources, protocols, applications, and listeners across the network - Detection of abnormal traffic patterns and malicious events such as DDoS attacks through traffic spike analysis - Conversation heat maps for visualizing traffic relationships between endpoints - High-volume traffic mode using parallel processing to handle large amounts of network flow data opFlow enables network and security teams to reduce Mean Time to Repair (MTTR) by pinpointing the location and timing of traffic incidents. It is available as a free download with minimal configuration required to begin visualizing network traffic.
