FenixPyre PADS (Post-Authentication Data Security Platform) is a file-level encryption and access control platform designed to protect data after users have been authenticated. It encrypts files using AES-256 encryption, where each file receives a unique File Encryption Key (FEK) that is itself encrypted by a Customer Master Key (CMK), with files and keys stored separately for layered protection. The platform operates through lightweight agents deployed on servers and endpoints and supports encryption at scale — up to 1TB every six hours. It works across any file type (including complex formats such as CAD designs) and any folder location, whether on-premises or cloud-based. Access control is managed through dynamic, role-based and location-aware policies enforced centrally from a single management console. Permissions can be revoked instantly without physically retrieving or reissuing files, and encrypted files remain protected even if copied, stolen, or exfiltrated. The platform supports Bring Your Own Key (BYOK) via customer-managed master keys stored in a Hardware Security Module (HSM) of the customer's choice. FenixPyre integrates with enterprise identity providers for authentication and with SIEM platforms for real-time audit logging, behavioral analytics, and anomaly detection. Keys are stored in a high-performance database and can only be decrypted within a secure HSM, with automated backups taken at multiple intervals across multiple U.S. regions. The platform uses FIPS 140-2 validated cryptographic modules, supports incremental departmental rollout, and offers a secure offboarding process that preserves customer access to encryption keys. File access latency is approximately 100 milliseconds.
