Cybonet Mail Secure is an email security gateway solution that integrates with existing email servers to protect against email-borne threats including spam, phishing, malware, ransomware, and data leakage. It is deployable on local hardware or virtual platforms, and is also available as a cloud-based service (Cybo Cloud). Core capabilities include a multi-layer anti-spam and anti-virus engine that blocks malicious content at the network perimeter, and a sandboxing module that intercepts and detonates suspicious email attachments in a behavioral sandbox environment in real time. The sandboxing capability is built via integration with Check Point SandBlast Technology. Mail Secure provides deep content analysis across more than 300 file types for Data Leakage Protection (DLP), and supports user- and domain-level policy rule configuration. It includes LDAP synchronization with directory services (Exchange, Active Directory, Lotus Notes), and centralized management of email traffic, quarantine logs, and reporting via clustering and advanced array management. Additional features include daily traffic reports that allow end users to manage their own personal whitelist/blacklist and release quarantined mail, integrated load balancing for scaling across multiple systems, and a Big Data Transfer module enabling secure sharing of large password-protected files with SMS-based password delivery. The software is compatible with virtual platforms including VMware, Hyper-V, and Citrix XenServer. The cloud service version protects Microsoft Exchange, Office 365, Google Gmail, and other hosted or on-premises email environments.
