BackupSec provides monitoring and validation of backup infrastructure to verify that backups can actually be restored. The platform observes backup jobs in real time to detect failed jobs, configuration drift, capacity issues, and security events across existing backup environments such as Veeam, hypervisors, and storage systems. It performs penetration testing against backup planes and executes real restores against defined RTO and RPO targets to produce evidence of recoverability, including validation of immutable backups and a recovery confidence report.
