Allot HomeSecure / Allot Secure is a network-based cybersecurity solution designed for communication service providers (CSPs) to deliver home network security to residential customers. It protects all connected devices within a home network, including IoT/smart devices, mobile devices, and desktop computers. The solution is comprised of three components: - A CPE-based thin security agent installed remotely on existing customer premises equipment (CPE) - The Allot Secure cloud backend - An end-user application Security capabilities include: - Web-based malware and phishing protection - Antivirus content inspection - AI-based anomaly detection for identifying abnormal device behavior - Device fingerprinting for automatic identification and profiling of all connected devices - Network segmentation to block lateral malware propagation between devices - CPE hardening features: password strength enforcement, DNS tampering protection, open port analysis, process and communication whitelisting, and two-factor authentication The solution also provides per-device parental controls, allowing parents to manage content access and online time individually per child. It is marketed as a 5G-ready, fixed and fixed-mobile solution with zero-touch activation, requiring no on-site installation or customer intervention. CSPs can offer it as a branded, white-label Security-as-a-Service product to differentiate their broadband offering and generate additional revenue.
