Visual Safeguard is a data protection platform that uses image-based post-quantum cryptography to secure sensitive information. The system transforms standard images into encryption keys, referred to as "Keepics," which work alongside recovery codes called "KVaults" to encrypt and decrypt stored secrets. The platform supports protection of various data types including cryptographic keys, seed phrases, private keys for cryptocurrency wallets, master passwords, PINs, Social Security Numbers, banking details, and confidential documents. Users select an image from their device or capture one, which serves as the encryption key without being modified or showing visible indicators of its security purpose. Visual Safeguard provides end-to-end encryption, ensuring only authorized users can access protected data. The encrypted images can be stored or shared across platforms including social media and messaging applications, with the system designed to handle image modifications from compression or resizing. The platform offers two sharing methods: public and private. Access is granted through invitations or links paired with the correct Keepic image. The system includes digital legacy capabilities for protecting digital accounts, credentials, and files for beneficiaries. Visual Safeguard operates across multiple devices and platforms, eliminating traditional password requirements for accessing protected information once authenticated to the platform.
