Secude HaloCAD is a Data Classification product by Secude. Pricing is commercial (price not published).
HaloCAD is a data protection product that applies Microsoft Purview Information Protection (MPIP) sensitivity labels and encryption directly within CAD applications to secure files classified as Controlled Unclassified Information (CUI). The product integrates natively into CAD software so that files are labeled, encrypted, and access-controlled from the point of creation, when shared with external partners, and while at rest, in use, or in transit. Access to CUI-CAD files is granted or blocked based on authorization defined in Microsoft Entra ID and MPIP, supporting a Zero Trust protection posture. Authentication and authorization events are logged in Entra ID sign-in and Identity Protection logs, and MPIP audit logs record file access attempts, which can be forwarded to a SIEM for monitoring and analysis. Sensitivity labels allow organizations to create data access boundaries between different working groups or projects, and to revoke access to CUI files at any time, including when personnel are terminated or transferred. HaloCAD is positioned to help organizations meet requirements under CMMC 2.0 and NIST SP 800-171, addressing controls across practices including Access Control, Audit and Accountability, Configuration Management, Identification and Authentication, Incident Response, Media Protection, Personnel Security, and System and Communication Protection. Employees continue to use existing CAD tools and workflows, with protection applied transparently in the background.</description> <parameter name="summary">Protects and tracks CAD files classified as CUI to support CMMC 2.0 compliance
