Rublon Authenticator is a mobile authentication app that transforms users' mobile devices into software tokens for securing access to cloud and on-premise applications. It is available for free on iOS, Android, and HarmonyOS. The app supports multiple authentication methods: - Mobile Push: Sends push notifications to the user's device, allowing one-tap approval or denial of authentication attempts. - Mobile Passcode: Generates offline Time-Based One-Time Passwords (TOTP) for use when internet connectivity is unavailable. - QR Code authentication. Authentication is based on usernames, and users can manage multiple accounts within a single app installation. Multiple devices per user are supported, with users able to enroll new devices without administrator approval (an admin approval policy is noted as a forthcoming feature). The app supports biometric locking mechanisms including Touch ID (iOS), fingerprint sensors (Android), and Face Recognition on supported devices. A PIN code lock option is also available. Rublon Authenticator is compliant with the Out-of-Band Device definition in NIST SP 800-63B (section 5.1.3), covering Digital Identity Guidelines on Authentication and Lifecycle Management.
