PhishTriage is a Insider Threat Detection product by PhishTriage. Pricing is free.
PhishTriage is a browser extension and portal that analyzes emails and web pages on demand to determine whether they are phishing attempts. Users click a toolbar button in Gmail or Outlook web (or on any suspicious webpage) to trigger analysis of on-screen content such as subject, sender, reply-to, links, and attachment names. The tool returns a plain-language verdict ("Don't trust this", "Be careful", "Looks safe") along with details on who the message impersonates, what it is after (password, payment, 2FA code), and supporting evidence. Behind the verdict are nine independent checks, each scored separately, that examine authentication, sender claims, link destinations, and attachment types, along with indicators of compromise. An optional Background protection feature checks visited sites against threat intelligence by hostname (or full URL if enabled) and displays a full-page warning for flagged sites before the user interacts with them. A separate file protection feature can inspect downloaded files, sending a hash by default or the full file only if the user requests deeper checking. For teams, the portal allows generation of invite codes to create an organization, with a shared dashboard of scans and verdicts. Fleets can be enrolled via managed browser policy, and organizations can self-host the backend proxy so triage traffic stays on their own infrastructure. The extension does not access mailboxes directly; it reads only the open message displayed on screen and does not open attachments during email analysis. Scan history is stored under a randomly generated server ID without requiring sign-up.</description> <parameter name="summary">Browser extension that gives plain-English phishing verdicts for emails and web pages
