COMGUARD Vulnerability Scans and Load Testing is a managed security service offering two distinct testing capabilities: vulnerability scanning and load/stress testing. **Vulnerability Scanning:** Network vulnerability scanning is performed using Rapid7 Nexpose software. The service includes preparation and installation of a scanning probe (hardware or virtual appliance) deployed at the client's premises during standard business hours (Mon–Fri, 8:00–17:00). Consultations are provided throughout the scanning process, and a final summary report is delivered detailing detected vulnerabilities and threats, prioritized for remediation. Invoicing occurs upon client acceptance of the summary report. Client prerequisites include: a network topology diagram with subnet addressing, input for selecting probe placement, physical access to the server room (1U rack space or VMware appliance import), network addressing details (IP, subnet mask, gateway, DNS), and remote access (SSH and HTTPS) to the probe for the duration of testing. **Load Testing:** Load testing allows organizations to verify whether an application meets expected traffic demands and to assess whether application changes have negatively impacted system performance. Load tests can also simulate DOS and DDoS attack scenarios to determine whether such attacks would result in data compromise or infrastructure disruption.
