A built-in communications module maintains connectivity between managed USB devices and Beachhead's management console, providing administrators with continuous visibility into device status and activity. When a device is identified as at risk, administrators can remotely quarantine data or perform a permanent wipe of the device. The product also generates file and usage logs, allowing organizations to track what data employees place on USB drives and detect potential data exfiltration activity. For compliance purposes, BeachheadSecure produces a Compliancy Report that provides documented evidence that data access controls, including encryption, have been continuously active on managed devices.
