Opal Lock

Fidelity Height Opal Lock is a Windows-based software tool for managing TCG Opal and Pyrite self-encrypting drives (SEDs). It interfaces directly with compatible hardware to configure and control drive-native encryption, keeping cryptographic operations on the drive itself rather than relying solely on OS-level volume encryption. The product is offered in four editions with different operational scopes: - USB: Supports up to 5 external USB-mounted Opal/Pyrite drives. Covers setup, lock/unlock, revert, and sanitization. Does not support internal or pre-boot system-drive workflows. - Standard: Supports up to 5 drives including internal and system drives. Adds pre-boot authentication (PBA) for locked system drives, plus query, audit, and sanitization workflows. - Premium: Includes everything in Standard, plus multi-drive setup/lock/unlock operations, a second limited-authority password, and support for higher-volume fleet operations. - Lite: A separate, free unlock-only license for compatible external USB Opal drives. Intended for recipients who only need to unlock a shared encrypted drive. Does not include full setup or management capabilities. Compatible drive interfaces include SATA, NVMe, and USB. The software runs on Windows 10, Windows 11, and Windows Server.
