Security Reporter is a self-hosted platform for penetration testing teams to manage security assessments, document findings, collaborate, and produce professional client-ready reports. It provides one structured workspace for the complete assessment lifecycle, from testing and finding documentation through review, reporting, remediation, and retesting. Reusable finding templates and previous findings help teams reduce repetitive work and keep reporting consistent across engagements. Reports are generated directly from structured assessment data and can be customized to match an organization's report structure, methodology, branding, and language. Security Reporter also supports custom fields and flexible layouts for different types of assessments. A built-in client portal gives customers a dedicated place to review findings, discuss remediation, and coordinate retests. Role-based access controls determine what users can access within each project. Pentesters, reviewers, and team leads work in the same workspace, with review workflows and version differences to help teams collaborate without document versioning conflicts. For automation and integrations, Security Reporter provides a REST API, webhooks, n8n and Zapier support, and an MCP server for AI-assisted workflows. It can also integrate with security tooling to bring findings into the reporting workflow.
