PRIM'X ZEDMAIL

ZEDMAIL is an email encryption product from PRIM'X that encrypts corporate email messages and attachments transparently for users of Outlook. It applies encryption and decryption automatically once a user is authenticated, encrypting the message body and any attachments before transmission and decrypting them locally on the recipient side, so content is transferred and stored encrypted across the network and messaging server. Encryption keys are held by the sender and recipient (via password or certificate) rather than by intermediary systems such as VPNs or dedicated encryption appliances. ZEDMAIL looks up recipient certificates automatically in enterprise directories (AD, LDAP) or personal certificate stores. If no certificate is available for a recipient, it generates a password automatically and stores it in a managed password wallet, allowing encrypted communication with any recipient regardless of whether they use ZEDMAIL. Recipients without ZEDMAIL can use PRIM'X ZED!, ZEDPRO, or the free ZEDFREE application to decrypt and reply to encrypted messages. ZEDMAIL supports push-mail synchronization with mobile devices, decrypting messages locally on iOS and Android through a companion mobile app. It integrates with Microsoft Outlook and supports administered deployment tools for installation across workstations, with security policy configuration managed centrally by a Security Officer. It uses AES 256-bit encryption and supports access via RSA certificates/keys and/or passwords, running on Windows 11+ with MS Outlook.
