PreVeil Admin Features is the enterprise administration module of the PreVeil encrypted email and file sharing platform. It provides IT administrators with tools to manage users, devices, and organizational security policies across the PreVeil environment. **User & Device Management** Administrators can add, remove, and view users individually or in groups. Device access can be controlled through an authorized device list, with the ability to view and lock devices at any time. **E-Discovery & Approval Groups** Admins can access encrypted emails and files for e-discovery purposes, but only with authorization from one or more users in predefined Approval Groups™. This mechanism protects against insider threats and attacks targeting individual admins. **Organization Policy Rules** Administrators can define system-wide default settings, such as managing local file sync behavior or configuring Outlook integration prompts during account creation. **Advanced Logging** Tamper-proof logs capture all user, admin, and system actions. Logs can be decrypted and shared with third-party SIEM systems. **Access Control** Granular permissions include edit, share, read-only, and view-only levels. Admins can revoke access on demand or set automatic unshare dates. File sharing can be restricted to trusted individuals and domains. **Secure Collaboration** Supports group-based sharing, selective folder sync, trusted community definitions, and a Cloud Lock mode that keeps files stored only in the cloud. Third parties can access shared content via the PreVeil Express browser portal at no cost. **Email Gateway** An email relay enables encrypted email exchange with third parties outside the PreVeil network, without requiring the third party to have knowledge of or an account with PreVeil. **Compliance & Security Standards** The platform stores data on AWS GovCloud for defense contractors, supports auto-encryption triggered by email subject line keywords (e.g., CUI, ITAR, FCI), and holds compliance certifications including FedRAMP, DFARS, CMMC, FIPS 140-3, and NIST alignment. No manual key management is required.
