ISARA Advance is a cryptographic inventory and risk assessment tool that provides visibility into an organization's cryptographic posture across cloud, on-premises, and hybrid environments. It operates through a three-phase workflow: Discover, Assess, and Prepare. In the discovery phase, Advance performs agentless scanning to build a real-time inventory of cryptographic assets, including algorithms, protocols, primitives, key lengths, certificates, and device information. In the assessment phase, it automatically analyzes the cryptographic environment to score exposure and posture, flagging deprecated or weak algorithms (e.g., vulnerable RSA and ECC implementations), expired or misconfigured certificates, and rogue certificates. In the preparation phase, it translates risk findings into prioritized remediation recommendations, supporting ticket-based workflows and CMDB integrations to facilitate remediation. It also provides guidance for post-quantum cryptography (PQC) migration and crypto agility adoption. ISARA Advance is designed to support compliance with standards such as PCI-DSS, DORA, NERC CIP, and NIST/NSA PQC guidance. It targets industries including financial services, government, and energy/utilities, with particular focus on addressing Harvest-Now, Decrypt-Later (HNDL) threats and long-term cryptographic risk.
