Grip ITDR 2.0 is an Identity Threat Detection and Response (ITDR) platform designed for SecOps teams, focused on detecting and responding to identity-based threats across managed and unmanaged SaaS environments. The platform extends beyond traditional ITDR coverage by monitoring unsanctioned (shadow) SaaS applications in addition to managed ones. It detects threats that go beyond login events, including malicious OAuth grants between applications, malicious browser extension installations, and privilege escalation activity. Grip ITDR 2.0 combines preventive and reactive capabilities. On the preventive side, it continuously monitors identity posture, reduces the identity attack surface, and identifies misconfigurations before threats materialize. On the reactive side, it provides real-time threat detection, high-fidelity alerts enriched with identity context and severity ratings, and both one-click and automated remediation options. For investigations, the platform provides blast radius mapping and rich identity context to help analysts assess impact and prioritize response quickly. Continuous tuning of detection logic is also included to reduce false positives and alert fatigue. Key threat vectors addressed include compromised credentials, privilege abuse, unauthorized lateral movement, OAuth grant abuse, and malicious browser extensions — threat types that conventional IAM, EDR, and XDR tools may not cover at the identity layer.
