The certificates are backed by DigiCert's root certificate authority and are managed through the DigiCert CertCentral platform. Three certificate tiers are offered: 1. GeoTrust Quick SSL Premium – Domain validation (DV) certificate. Issuance in as little as 2 minutes after domain approval. Covers FQDN and wildcard domains. Warranty up to USD $500,000. 2. TrueBusiness ID – Organization validation (OV) certificate. Requires domain and organization authentication (9 validation checks). Supports FQDN and wildcard domains. Warranty up to USD $1,250,000. 3. TrueBusiness ID with EV – Extended validation (EV) certificate. Requires the most thorough vetting (16 validation checks), including domain, organization, and extended business verification. FQDN only (no wildcard). Warranty up to USD $1,500,000. All tiers include: - "GeoTrust Powered by DigiCert" site seal - DigiCert CertCentral Basic account access - Unlimited server licensing (one license usable across multiple servers) - 30-day full refund policy on first certificate - Support for web servers, mail servers, and FTP servers - Multi-year pricing options (1, 2, or 3 years) Certificates are issued and managed via DigiCert's CertCentral console, which provides centralized monitoring and management of all certificates across an organization, including certificates not issued by GeoTrust.
