Dissecto HydraScan is a plugin for dissecto HydraVision that performs vehicle security scans and forensic analysis. The tool connects to a vehicle's OBD interface through HydraProbe Mobile to conduct assessments via CAN (UDS over CAN) or DoIP (UDS over IP). HydraScan scans electronic control units (ECUs) across vehicles to identify vulnerabilities, misconfigurations, and potential attack vectors. The tool captures system logs for forensic investigations, enabling analysis of anomalies, unauthorized modifications, and cyberattacks. The plugin supports customizable test cases and provides real-time monitoring with detailed security reports through HydraVision's dashboard. It includes ECU protocol scanning with ISOTP and UDS support, along with ECU state mapping for reverse engineering analysis. HydraScan verifies compliance with automotive cybersecurity standards including UNECE R155, ISO 21434, and GB44495. The tool integrates into CI/CD pipelines for security testing throughout development cycles. The solution supports both single-vehicle assessments and fleet-wide security testing with remote access capabilities. It aggregates and correlates scan data from multiple ECUs to provide system-wide security status analysis. HydraScan operates on Windows, Ubuntu 22.04 & 20.04, Fedora, and Manjaro operating systems.
