Byos Management Console is a centralized management interface for administering and securing Byos Secure Edge devices across corporate and industrial OT networks. It provides a single-pane interface through which administrators can monitor, control, and configure all deployed Byos Secure Edge hardware endpoints. Each connected device is isolated in its own microsegment and communicates with the console through encrypted tunnels, enforcing Zero Trust principles without requiring inbound perimeter openings. Core capabilities include: - Centralized security policy management, allowing administrators to group devices by attributes, set custom routing policies, and monitor usage - Granular asset access control using port- and protocol-based allow-lists to restrict how assets connected to Byos Secure Edge devices are accessed - Real-time monitoring and incident response, including live alerts for potential risks and a Ransomware Killswitch feature to contain active threats - Customizable route enforcement via flexible Edge Routing Policies, supporting full or split tunnelling, with or without internet access, or with clean TLS traffic - A network map view (Byos Network Map) displaying all edges and connected assets within the Byos Secure Lobby overlay network Connectivity between edge devices and the console is established via the Byos Secure Lobby, which uses outbound connections originating from within the corporate network perimeter, avoiding the need to expose inbound ports. The console supports legacy systems and previously air-gapped devices through zero-touch deployment, enabling remote access and management without requiring hardware upgrades. It is applicable to industries including defense, manufacturing, utilities, and healthcare.
