Cloud Storage Security Antivirus is a cloud-native malware scanning solution designed to protect object storage across AWS, Azure, and GCP. It operates entirely within the customer's own cloud environment (in-tenant), meaning scanned data never leaves the customer's cloud account or project. The solution scans both newly uploaded objects and existing stored objects across Amazon S3, FSx, EFS, EBS, Azure Blob Storage, and Google Cloud Storage. It uses multiple malware detection engines to identify malicious files and supports near real-time scanning triggered by storage events as well as scheduled batch jobs for historical and archival data. An auto-protect tagging mechanism enables automatic scanning of newly created buckets without manual configuration. Suspicious files can be sent to a cloud sandbox for static and dynamic behavioral analysis (detonation). Based on configured policies, infected objects can be tagged, quarantined, or have access blocked automatically. Scan findings are streamed to Amazon SNS for alerting, Amazon CloudWatch for audit logging, and AWS Security Hub for centralized correlation. The platform integrates with AWS Transfer Family to inspect files at the point of ingestion. Alerts can be routed to Slack, email, or ticketing systems via SNS. The product provides object-level forensic visibility, including which users or systems interacted with a malicious file and where similar payloads are clustering. Audit-ready reports can be exported at the bucket or account level to support compliance, incident response, and due diligence processes. Deployment requires no agents and no complex integrations, with most environments operational within 15 minutes. It supports single-account and multi-account AWS topologies, multiple AWS regions, and multi-cloud deployments.
