Ubiq Security is an identity-driven data security platform that provides encryption, tokenization, and data masking capabilities enforced through existing Identity and Access Management (IAM) policies. Rather than relying on storage-level encryption, Ubiq applies data protection at the record or field level on the client side, ensuring that only authorized identities can access sensitive data in cleartext. The platform abstracts cryptographic complexity into a simple API, enabling developers to integrate encryption and tokenization directly into applications, databases, data warehouses, and API gateways. SDKs are available for multiple programming languages including Node.js, Ruby, Python, C, C++, C#, Java, and Go, as well as a native Snowflake integration. Ubiq connects to existing identity providers via SCIM, tying data access policies to human and non-human identities already managed within an organization's IAM system. This means storage administrators and database administrators only ever interact with ciphertext, not cleartext. Key management is integrated into the platform, handling key generation, rotation, and enforcement automatically. Organizations may optionally bring their own HSM or KMS. Format-preserving encryption (FPE) is also supported, allowing encrypted data to retain its original format for use in databases and analytical queries. The platform targets industries including financial services, healthcare, government, retail, energy, telecommunications, media, and technology/SaaS.
