Sondera

Sondera provides a runtime enforcement layer for AI coding agents and agentic tools. Organizations write rules in plain language (e.g. "no confidential data is allowed to reach the public web"), which Sondera converts into verified, deterministic code that checks every agent action before it executes. The system evaluates each proposed action (such as file reads, web fetches, or tool calls) against these compiled rules and returns an allow or deny verdict, aiming to produce the same verdict for the same action every time. This is intended to let agents operate with more autonomy by proving what they cannot do, rather than relying on probabilistic or best-effort guardrails. Sondera integrates with coding agent harnesses and IDEs, including Claude Code, GitHub Copilot, VS Code, Cursor, Codex, Gemini CLI, Antigravity, OpenCode, OpenHands, and agent frameworks such as LangGraph, ADK, Strands, and MCP. An open-source SDK is available for connecting custom agent harnesses.
