Probely

Probely is a dynamic application security testing (DAST) tool that scans web applications and APIs for vulnerabilities. It uses a headless-Chrome based spider to crawl web applications, including rich JavaScript apps, single-page applications, and sites using shadow DOM, pushState, and Hashchange. For APIs, it can follow XHR requests from SPAs or scan standalone APIs using OpenAPI/Swagger schema files or Postman Collections. The tool supports authenticated scanning for applications using SSO and OpenID Connect, including re-authentication if a session is lost. Additional scanning options include customizable configurations, scheduled scans, partial scans, scanning behind a firewall, and blackout periods. Probely integrates into CI/CD pipelines and issue trackers to embed security testing into the software development lifecycle, supporting DevSecOps workflows. It reports a false positive rate of 0.06% as of 2022. Probely also provides reports mapped to compliance requirements such as PCI-DSS, SOC2, HIPAA, ISO27001, and GDPR, which can be used as evidence during audits.
