Cloudbrink Personal SASE

Cloudbrink Personal SASE is a remote access product positioned as a replacement for traditional VPN solutions such as OpenVPN. It combines zero trust network access (ZTNA), SD-WAN, and edge acceleration technology to provide application-level, least-privilege access to private and SaaS applications. The product uses a distributed "FAST edge" network and a proprietary Brink Protocol to reduce the impact of packet loss and network jitter on remote connections, aiming to improve application responsiveness and file transfer speeds compared to traditional VPN tunneling. Access control is based on identity and continuous device posture checks rather than broad network-level access. Security is enforced through mutual TLS 1.3 with certificate rotation as frequently as every 8 hours, described as an Automated Moving Target Defense mechanism intended to reduce the window of exposure for stolen or compromised certificates. The service also supports a Software Defined Perimeter (SDP) compliant Dynamic Invisible Network model. The platform includes built-in Quality of Experience (QoE) analytics that report packet loss, latency, jitter, and throughput per application and user. It is delivered as a software-only, cloud-managed service with auto-provisioned edges, removing the need for self-hosted VPN appliances, gateway sizing, or manual certificate/routing configuration. Cloudbrink integrates with identity providers and endpoint posture tools to incorporate device risk signals into access policy decisions.
