Air Gap Network Switch

The Air Gap Network Switch is a physical desktop or rack-mounted networking device that connects and disconnects Ethernet-based devices from a network according to a user-defined schedule. It supports up to 7 connected devices per unit, such as hard disk drives, printers, computers, and laptops, through a design with 1 common port and 7 air-gapped ports. Users can configure offline time periods, such as evenings, weekends, or holidays, during which connected devices are physically disconnected from the network. This is intended to limit exposure of sensitive data and devices to network-based threats such as ransomware encryption or malware spread when the devices are not actively in use. The device is available in 1 Gbit/sec and 10 Gbit/sec versions and is described as suitable for applications requiring high speed and low latency, including IP voice and video calls, video streaming, file transfers, and online meetings.
