Owl Talon is a data diode platform that provides hardware-enforced one-way data transfer for government and Department of Defense networks. The solution uses Protocol Filtering Diode (PFD) technology to ensure data flows only in one direction, physically preventing unauthorized access and cyber threats from entering protected networks. The platform is built on 25 years of data diode innovation and offers multiple form factors including 1U rackmount, 2U rackmount, and DIN-rail configurations. Transfer speeds range from 1Gbps to 100Gbps depending on the model selected. Owl Talon supports simultaneous transfer of multiple data types and protocols on a single device. The solution is designed for critical infrastructure protection, operational technology environments, and classified network segmentation. Bidirectional configurations are available for secure round-trip data transfer while maintaining hardware-enforced security controls. The platform includes the OPDS-Talon software suite and is compatible with various Owl software modules. DIN-rail models are engineered for harsh industrial environments.
