On macOS and Linux, management is performed directly through the Chrome browser. The device requires a PIN to be set before fingerprints can be registered. Resetting the key clears all stored data, including registered fingerprints and credentials. The reset process requires physical confirmation via the fingerprint sensor. Note: The key does not support signing in to Windows Hello or local PC authentication. Windows 10 support for FIDO protocols is not guaranteed.
