Crucible is a hosted platform by Dreadnode designed for practicing AI red teaming skills. It provides a collection of 65+ AI hacking challenges covering techniques such as prompt injection, fingerprinting, model inversion, and evasion. The platform operates as a capture-the-flag (CTF) style environment where users can work through challenges at their own pace or participate in scheduled CTF events. New challenges are released on a regular cadence to keep content current. Users can deploy their own models and challenges using a provided development kit, enabling customization beyond the pre-built challenge library. Community features include solution write-ups and a Discord server where participants can share techniques, tactics, and procedures (TTPs) with others in the AI red teaming space. Crucible has been used by organizations including CISA, PwC, Rakuten, eBay, Target, Intel, NetSPI, DoorDash, Bishop Fox, SpecterOps, HiddenLayer, Informatica, NYU, and others.
