The service operates on a proactive threat hunting model that focuses on detecting evasive threats by analyzing Tactics, Techniques, and Procedures (TTPs) rather than relying solely on Indicators of Compromise (IOCs). The threat hunting team investigates under an undetected breach scenario, assuming sophisticated attacks may have occurred without triggering security events. This approach utilizes compromise hypothesis methodology to identify suspicious activity. The MDR service provides alert response in less than 2 minutes on average, with immediate investigation to confirm risks or false positives. When threats are detected, the service isolates compromised systems with proper authorization. The service includes continuous collaboration with Red Team capabilities to identify new detection opportunities and improve response times. For incident response, the service offers two models: Response with Prior Preparation (annual service with team on retainer, priority response 24x7x365 in less than 1 hour) and Response without Prior Preparation (on-demand service). The Incident Response team takes leadership in incident management, coordinating with third parties and other teams as needed. The service collects and analyzes telemetry from endpoints, servers, and deception campaigns. It utilizes EDR/XDR technology as a critical component for service delivery.
