Executive summary
As of November 2026, CybersecTools tracks 213 companies that sell AI security solutions as their main business. Agentic AI Security is part of that family. The largest groups are based in the United States, Israel and the United Kingdom. In the last 12 months they raised $1.7B across 79 funding rounds, 18 companies were acquired and 96 new companies started in the last two years.
From that field we chose seven solutions that watch, limit or undo what AI agents do once they act on their own. CrowdStrike Falcon Guardian leads for teams that already run the Falcon platform and want AI coverage on the same sensor. Rubrik Agent Cloud stands out because it can roll back what an agent changed. Silverfort AI Agent Security fits teams that want every agent tied to a human owner and checked at an MCP gateway before it acts.
The decision in this category is where you put the control. You can govern agents through identity, by limiting what each one may reach; through runtime, by watching and blocking what it does; or at the endpoint, by checking each command. Most teams will need more than one layer, so start with the one closest to where your agents already run.
How we evaluated
We looked at 166 agentic AI security solutions from 132 companies, and the 7 on this page made the cut. We combined our judgment from years of leading enterprise security programs with market data from Mandos, our market intelligence platform, and with the vendor and review pages listed under Sources at the end of this page. For customer feedback, we left out paid reviews, reviews by vendor staff or partners, review campaigns and anything older than two years, so you get an accurate view of what customers say.
Four traits mattered most: finding agents and the identities they use, limiting what each agent may reach, watching or blocking agent actions as they happen, and a way to reverse or contain damage. We left out agent-building platforms, sandboxes and products built for a single vendor's agents only. The order follows how widely each product is used by teams like yours. Company momentum shows how the vendor itself is growing, so a market leader can rank first with a lower score.

What is Agentic AI Security
Agentic AI security covers the AI agents that act for your staff: reading files, calling functions, changing records and talking to other systems. It finds the agents you have, ties each one to an owner, limits what it can reach, and watches or blocks what it does.
This matters because an agent works with real credentials and real access, often faster than anyone can review. A tricked or careless agent can leak data or change systems at scale. It sits next to your identity, data security and endpoint programs, and it depends on knowing which agents and service accounts exist in the first place.

Our take
CrowdStrike Falcon Guardian runs on the Falcon platform and watches AI agents at the endpoint, where their actions touch the operating system, files, credentials and networks. It finds known and unapproved agents on Windows, macOS and Linux, links prompts, MCP servers and identity to what each agent then does, and can allow approved agent types, block the rest and stop malicious behavior at runtime.
It earns its place because it puts agent control on a sensor you may already run, so you add coverage without a new agent on every machine. That fits mid-market and enterprise Falcon shops best. CrowdStrike lists an AI gateway and Falcon Complete managed response for Guardian as upcoming, so ask what you get on day one.
CrowdStrike Falcon Guardian main features
- Discovery of known and shadow AI agents
- Agent inventory with owner and status
- Prompt-to-runtime activity correlation
- Allow or block agent types on endpoints
- Controls for prompt injection and data exposure

Funding, hiring and news for Rubrik on Mandos.
Our take
Rubrik Agent Cloud discovers AI agents and tracks what they do with data, identities and applications. Policy controls set each agent's access and limits in real time. Its most unusual part is Agent Rewind, which can undo unwanted or destructive agent actions without downtime. It connects to AWS, Google Cloud, Salesforce, SAP HANA, SQL Server, Oracle, Active Directory and Okta.
This is the pick if your main fear is an agent deleting or changing data at scale, because the rollback builds on Rubrik's backup and recovery platform. It runs as a hybrid deployment for mid-market and enterprise estates. If you do not use Rubrik for backup today, ask how much of the platform you must adopt to get rewind.
Rubrik Agent Cloud main features
- Automatic AI agent discovery
- Agent activity monitoring across data, identities, and applications
- Policy-based agent governance controls
- Real-time agent behavior enforcement
- Agent action remediation and rollback
- Air-gapped immutable backups
- Threat detection and investigation

Funding, hiring and news for Silverfort on Mandos.
Our take
Silverfort AI Agent Security discovers AI agents across identity providers, cloud platforms and SaaS apps through read-only API connections, including agents nobody approved. It maps each agent to the identity that created it and to a human owner, and scores risk by privilege, data sensitivity and odd behavior. Its MCP gateway checks each agent call before it runs and can require human approval for sensitive actions.
It belongs here because it governs agents through identity, so every agent answers to a person under the same rules you apply to staff. It is cloud-delivered, and its size fit runs from SMB to enterprise. Check how many of your agents actually route through the MCP gateway, since blocking only works where calls pass through it.
Silverfort AI Agent Security main features
- Automated AI agent discovery across IdPs, cloud platforms, and SaaS
- Visual storyline graphs mapping agents to human owners
- Dynamic risk scoring based on privilege level and behavior
- Real-time MCP gateway for agent call inspection
- Least privilege access enforcement
- SSO enforcement through identity providers
- Human-in-the-loop approval workflows
- Shadow AI detection

Funding, hiring and news for Astrix Security on Mandos.
Our take
Astrix Agentic AI Security keeps a live inventory of AI agents, MCP servers and other non-human identities such as service accounts and API keys. It finds excessive privileges and risky configurations, and its Agent Control Plane provisions new agents with short-lived credentials and just-in-time access. It also detects threats such as stolen credentials and agent actions outside their scope.
Start here if your agent problem is really a service account and API key problem, because Astrix treats an agent as one more non-human identity to inventory and limit. It is cloud-delivered for mid-market and enterprise teams. Cisco acquired Astrix in 2026, so ask how the roadmap and licensing will change before you sign a long term.
Astrix Agentic AI Security main features
- Real-time inventory of AI agents, MCP servers, and NHIs
- Risk assessment and business usage context
- Detection of excessive privileges and vulnerable configurations
- Agent Control Plane for secure-by-design provisioning

Our take
HiddenLayer AI Runtime Security protects AI apps and agents you build. It detects prompt injection, data leaks, model tampering, misuse of agent functions and model theft, and maps alerts to MITRE ATLAS and the OWASP LLM list. It connects to GitHub Actions, Jenkins, Splunk, Microsoft Sentinel, LangChain, OpenAI Agents SDK, AWS Bedrock and Hugging Face.
It does a different job from the endpoint and identity picks, because it covers the agents your own developers ship, from model scanning in the build pipeline to runtime defense and red teaming. That suits mid-market and enterprise teams with an active AI build program. If most of your agents are bought rather than built, weigh whether you need this layer yet.
HiddenLayer AI Runtime Security main features

Funding, hiring and news for Airlock Digital on Mandos.
Our take
Airlock Digital Agentic AI Usage Control extends its application control product to AI agents on endpoints. It discovers agents such as Microsoft Copilot, Claude and Codex, checks each agent command against policy before it runs, and can block it or tell the agent to change course. It also shows each session, the files it touched, credentials exposed, token use and estimated cost.
It earns a place because it applies deny-by-default control to agent commands, which stops an unapproved action before it runs rather than after. That suits mid-market and enterprise teams that already run allowlisting on laptops and servers. If you do not, expect policy work up front so it blocks risk without blocking your developers.
Airlock Digital Agentic AI Usage Control main features
- Automatic discovery of AI agents and agentic AI applications across endpoints
- Real-time AI agent command evaluation and policy enforcement
- Centralized policy management for applications and AI agents with version control
- Session-level and command-level visibility into AI agent activity
- Monitoring of file access, credential exposure, token usage, and cost
- Centralized dashboard for policy decisions, risk activity, and AI sessions
- Granular role-based control over policy management
- Communication of policy decisions back to AI agents to adjust behavior

Conclusion
Agent security is young, and most products here are new versions of a vendor's core strength. Pick by where your control already lives. If you run Falcon, start with CrowdStrike. If identity is your strongest program, Silverfort or Astrix fit. If you build your own AI apps, HiddenLayer or Oligo fit. If endpoints are where you enforce rules, Airlock fits. Add Rubrik if undoing damage matters most. Whatever you choose, ask for references for the agent product itself, not the vendor's older products.
Frequently Asked Questions
What is agentic AI security?
It is the set of controls for AI agents that act on their own: finding them, tying them to an owner, limiting what they can reach and watching what they do. It goes further than prompt filtering, because agents call functions with real credentials.
How is it different from AI security posture management?
AI security posture management finds AI apps and models and their risky settings. Agentic AI security focuses on what agents do at runtime and on the access they hold. Many vendors offer both, so check which part each product really covers.
What is an MCP gateway?
MCP, the Model Context Protocol, is a common way for agents to connect to data and services. An MCP gateway sits between agents and those connections and checks each call against policy before it runs. It only controls agents that route through it.
Can these products undo what an agent did?
Most products detect or block. Rubrik Agent Cloud is the pick on this list built to roll back agent actions, and it relies on data Rubrik already protects. Ask every vendor what happens after a harmful action gets through.
Why are there so few customer reviews?
Most of these products launched in the last year or two. Many reviews online cover the vendor's older products, which do not tell you how the agent features work. Ask vendors for customer references for the agent product itself.
Where should we start?
Start by finding the agents and service accounts you already have, and who owns them. Then limit what the riskiest ones can reach. Runtime blocking and rollback come next, once you know what normal agent behavior looks like.
