Retech Offshore is an Ireland-based company that develops Noctiguard, a private cloud platform for protecting and remotely managing critical infrastructure and operational systems. The platform is aimed at offshore platforms and assets, marine vessels and fleets, energy pipelines and plants, and industrial sites and facilities. Noctiguard combines hardware-based authentication and encryption, zero-trust network access (ZTNA), privileged access management, and what the company calls dark-edge technology in a single system. Security policies, user access, and critical systems are managed together in one private cloud, and the platform is designed to avoid exposing operational systems. The security system is organised into six layers. The first layer is hardware-backed identity and attestation, which uses a physical security key and verifies that each device is trusted before access is granted. This is intended to reduce the risk from stolen credentials and unfamiliar devices. A management interface provides visibility into network health, activity, and policy across sites, presented as an organisation-level overview dashboard. The company's leadership consists of CEO Shane Reenan, who has a background in marine and offshore operations, and CTO Niall Reenan, who has experience in scientific computing, network infrastructure, and cybersecurity across natural resources, industrial, telecommunications, and government sectors.
